As a working student at AOE, I am a full member of a Scrum team within the congstar project, collaborating on real features alongside experienced developers as an equal.
This allows me to apply my Applied Computer Science studies directly in practice while also learning things that are not part of the university curriculum. What I appreciate especially is that I was able to take on responsibility from day one and that my ideas were heard within the team. Thanks to professional processes, code reviews, and daily exchange with experienced colleagues, the working student position feels like a true entry into everyday developer life, not just a side job. The modern office, with its open atmosphere, short distances, and strong team spirit, makes it easy to enjoy coming in every morning. For me, AOE is the ideal bridge between studying and starting a career.
