 As a (Senior) Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you’ll take responsibility for the accounting of selected AOE Group entities and play a key role in delivering accurate, transparent financial statements. You’ll also help drive the ongoing improvement of our finance processes, working closely with our controlling team and bringing your expertise into a supportive, professional environment.

Your job

• Independent management of financial accounting for selected entities within the AOE Group
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions within the group
• Preparation and submission of tax filings (e.g. VAT returns, EU sales reports, Z4 reports)
• Point of contact for tax advisors, and communication with tax authorities and auditors
• Contribution to the further development and optimization of internal financial and accounting processes

What you bring along

• Commercial Apprenticeship or business studies
• Several years of sound professional experience in financial accounting
• Knowledge of current accounting guidelines, knowledge of balance sheet preparation and group experience an advantage
• Very good knowledge of DATEV and good knowledge of common MS Office programmes, especially very good knowledge of Excel
• Business fluent German and good English skills
• Open and communicative personality
