Duales Studium Medieninformatik / Angewandte Informatik (m/f/d), Wiesbaden

You are already a student but don’t want to just cram theory? How about a dual study program with us? In cooperation with the Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, you can pursue a B.Sc. in Media Informatics or Applied Computer Science with us. You’ll learn not just the tricks of software development, but also dive right into real projects at AOE. We'll introduce you to practical work, show you various work areas, and equip you with all the skills you need for your career start with us.
Your dual study program starts with us from the 3rd semester and begins in the winter semester of 2024/25. Your start at AOE is on September 1st, 2024, so you can get to know your team, the company, and everything around it in advance. Your job

• It's all in the mix: You will apply your knowledge directly, whether in backend or frontend development, in the DevOps area, in test-driven development or other aspects of software development
• Coding: You learn practical knowledge and skills in software development, from Go and Kotlin to React or even Kubernetes
• Hands-on: You support your team colleagues in the development of web applications and thus continue to expand your knowledge and practical experience
• Finetuning: You analyze our processes and develop ideas on how we can improve them
• Learning to fly: With us, you will not only work on varied projects, but will soon be in charge of your own stories or sub-projects and get behind them so that a problem is turned into a solution
• Agility is key: You work in cross-functional teams with agile methods

What you bring along

• Completion of „Hochschulreife“ or „Fachhochschulreife“
• You have already completed the first two semesters of your studies
• Good technical understanding, interest in IT topics and a desire to develop and advance IT solutions
• Eager to learn, ability to work in a team, high self-motivation and openness to work in an agile work culture
• Very good German and good English skills
